Policies & Procedures: Security Features

Security Staffing

  • Multi-level security (all multi-tenant buildings have a building security guard)
  • Site manager security in the facility during normal business hours
  • 24x7 on-site security (offered in selected facilities)

Electronic Security

  • A CCTV System monitors all entry/exit points and records six months of data,
    on a 24x7 basis
  • Electronic intrusion devices monitor all doors
  • Authorized access list determined by client
  • All main access points are controlled with the use of card access, requiring the use of a card and a PIN number
  • Entry will be allowed through a “mantrap” area
  • Once in the “mantrap” area all persons will be required to sign into the facility
  • All non-customers will be required to produce a current picture ID
  • Access card required for facility and colocation floor

Emergencies

  • Each location has a comprehensive plan to deal with unexpected emergencies, such as fire or safety hazards.

Emergency Access

Access lists provided by the customers will be used to authorize access to the facility 24x7.
