Center for Health Affairs (CHA) develops programs that address issues affecting the delivery and efficiency of healthcare to the community.  CHA has a large and fairly sophisticated network with a web server, MOSS server, Exchange server, file/print server, SQL server, and Microsoft CRM server.  Plagued with instability in the network and server infrastructure, slow response time to issues from internal and external IT resources, an inadequate logging/helpdesk system, and a host of PC issues from their 100+ users, CHA wanted immediate help to resolve rampant infrastructure issues, to raise the bar on the expertise of their IT resources and level of customer service, and an outsourced IT management partner at affordable rates moving forward.

Advanced Network Solutions (ANS) proposed a phased approach to meet CHA’s requirements.  First, ANS performed an system-wide assessment: measuring system performance and interviewing CHA staff to compile a clear and complete list of issues.  Then ANS recommended solutions to each issue using Microsoft best practices and prioritized based on ANS’s 26+ years experience in IT.   In the second phase, ANS performed Remediation on CHA’s systems, stabilizing and improved their uptime by implementing Microsoft’s best practices to CHA’s network and servers.  Third, ANS rolled out a managed services solution where ANS proactively monitors, patches, and resolves issues on CHA’s network and servers plus provides a fully staffed and trained helpdesk of IT experts.

By carefully identifying CHA’s issues, remediating issues by applying Microsoft’s best practices and ANS’ IT expertise to quickly resolve core infrastructure issues, and now proactively monitoring and managing CHA’s IT infrastructure, ANS and CHA have partnered to stabilize CHA’s network, improve system uptime, and increase CHA’s employee productivity.
